Zermatt:
Restaurant "Zermatterstuebli" (Kalbsgeschnetzeltes mit Roesti; Rindersteak; classic old school swiss restaurant with great food)
Matterhornbahn (Altitude sickness and playing in the snow:))
Paris:
Hotel K+K Hotel Cayre Saint German des Pres (nice rooms, good breakfast, good location);
Restaurant "Jules Verne" in the Eiffel Tower (good food and free access to the viewing platform during and after dinner)
Milan: The Westin Palace Hotel: Nice Junior suite and good food at "Terraza PanEVO"
Vienna:
Food: Naschmarkt (Pho) and Cafe Sacher (Sachertorte, not glutenfree but light and worth it)
Staatsoper: "4 Jahreszeiten" (super performance and old school atmosphere)
Dresden: Restaurant "Gaensedieb" ', Kinh Do Restaurant across (Pho) and surrounding area; Hotel Super 8 in Neustadt near Neustadt Bahnhof (7min walk but need Tram to City Center)
Berlin: Hotel Adlon (Rooms and breakfast) and "Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer" (under Reto Braendli)
Dreis: Waldhotel Sonora (one of the "Best of the Best")
Zurich: Cafe Spruengli am Flughafen (Macarones); Marriott Courtyard Zurich North (#122)
Food:
"Roy's Ko Olina": Great mixed drinks
"Noe"a t the Four Seasosn Ko Olina: Great Italian food and gluten free pasta; great service
"Senia" Honolulu: Great food!
Food Trucks near Hilo, North Shore: Great Poke

"Viale" restaurant in Cambridge: Great roasted half chicken
"Verveine" Cafe and Bakery: Great Glutenfree bakery (eveyrthing is GF)
"The Capital Grill Boston": Great food and awesome service
"La Royal": Peruvian restaurant near Harvard
Le Meridien Cambridge (#747)
Food:
"Alba": Italien restaurant across from Harrod's (glutenfree pasta; great risotto and fresh fish)
"Wiltons" restaurant: A classic on Jermyn Street. Great food and service.
"Palm Court at the Langham" : Glutenfree High Tea (sandwiches and pastries accompanied by classic teas; the pastries and cakes could compete with the best; sandwiches had top notch ingredients)
"Libby's" bakery in Notting Hill: Glutenfree bakery (light pain au chocolate and awesome jelly donuts)
Hotel:
RIU Plaza London Victoria: Nice rooms, good AC, quiet, good breakfast, great location (#611?)
Transportation:
Heathrow Express: Buy tickets through the app. Business class tickets get you access to 'Fast Track' at Heathrow Security (no lines when we were there)
Subway (Tube): Pay as you go with contactless credit card or phone; billing cuts off at around 8 pounds (equivalent of a 24h ticket) so no need to buy 24h tickets. Multi day passes might still be good for longer stays
Food:
Hotel Hermitage - Lobby Bar/Restaurant: Friendly, good food, outstanding glutenfree Tiramisu. Hotel seems quieter with a more refined clientele.
Hotel de Paris/Le Louis XV: Light Fench/Mediterranean cuisine (lemon, acidic) with top notch service and wines. Hotel seems more like a "see and be seen spot".
Gatwick Airport:

South Terminal (BA, Trains to London):
Hilton Gatwick Airport (#3161 - good; Courtyard facing rooms are also good; the few Atrium facing ones should be avoided) ; good breakfast and the restaurant that serves breakfast is also good for dinner (Chicken Tikka Masala)
North Terminal (EasyJet):
Hampton by Hilton: closest and best value (good breakfast included) ; decent dinner (burgers and sandwiches mostly); rooms have wooden floors though; avoid south facing rooms (airport noise) (#513 good)
Sofitel: very close. too; better dinner options; avoid Atrium rooms and rooms facing railway to South Terminal; didn't stay here, only had lunch and dinner.
Airport: Buy Security Fast Track; definitely helps; Passport fast track made no difference coming from USA or Europe
Berlin Airport: Moevenpick at arrivals landside
Dresden:
Hotel: Premier Inn Dresden City Zentrum (Dr.-Külz-Ring 15a; watch out, there are two close to each other!) (#312 good) ; good location, 15 min to Hauptbahnhof, 5 minutes to Altmarkt. Decent chainl, little budget, no fridge.
Prague: Restaurant near train station: Ferdinanda Restaurant: good solid food
Bratislava:
Hotel: Crown Plaza (#250?' get room facing courtyard, not street), good hotel, good rooms, good breakfast
Restaurants:
Houdini: Nice upscale restuarant in a fancy boutique hotel (Marrols); good food; dress smart
Pollito Cheesecakes: Great Mousse cakes
Dolnozemska Restaurant: great food; in the middle of old town
Mondieu Cafe at Hviezdoslavovo námestie (by the embassies): great glutenfree cheesecakes
Budapest:
Hotel : Bo18 Hotel Superior: Good hotel; good breakfast (ask for glutenfree bread and you get a basket with great weckle and cinnamon rolls) ; avoid floor 5+6 (under the roof, hot) (#208 good); lobby smells a lot of signature perfume; friendly
Restaurants:
Free Glutenfree Bakery (Lazar u. 4): Great light muffins; cinnamon rolls; Quarktaschen; espresso and lunch sandwiches
STEX Restaurant: Decent food close to hotel
Szamos cafe: Great cakes; had Dobos cake (great); good esperesso
Borkonyha Winekitchen: 1 star; good solid 1 star with 2 star desserts
Getto Gulyas: good solid hungarian food
