Health

I specialize in Ancestral Health and Wellness: We cannot achieve optimal health if we ignore the expectations of our human genes.

As your coach I will guide you to gradually implement evolutionary based lifestyle changes that promote optimal gene expression for health, fitness and longevity.

The goal is to slowly and gradually adopt a lifestyle that is sustainable for the rest of your life. 

As the saying goes: Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast.

I don't believe in calorie counting, measuring or weighing your food or going hungry for an extended period of time. I think it is much better for longterm succes to retrain your body to self-regulate: Let your body tell you when it’s hungry, what it wants and how much. 

This requires that you pay closer attention to your body and it’s needs but also that you eliminate foods that can throw your body's natural regulatory systems off, such as grains, legumes, added sugars and seed oils.

Although human beings can thrive on a wide variety of diets, depending on individual genetic predisposition and environmental factors, I believe most people benefit from eliminating these foods.

 

I also don't believe that “exercising” or “working out” in the traditional sense is the best long-term approach to better health. I think the better approach is to learn to incorporate active and passive natural movements (movement that the human body evolved to perform) into your daily life: Instead of setting aside an hour a day to work out, design your day around natural movement mini-workouts or movement snacks during which you can slowly build up your strength, stamina, connective tissue, resilience etc.

Financial Well-Being

I help you find out what really matters to you so you can avoid or reverse lifestyle creep and over-spending and align your short and long-term financial plans with your values and goals.

You will develop a better understanding of your finances, feel more in control and reduce money related stress.

I also specialize in Financial Independence and Early Retirement” (FIRE): Achieving financial freedom before the traditional retirement age.​

Over a lifetime interests and passions might change but a traditional career can often not accommodate these changes, resulting in frustration and a feeling of being stuck with your job.

Through careful planning, focusing on what really matters to you and sticking to clearly defined financial goals you can become financially independent at an earlier age which allows you to have the freedom to choose our work based on our interest and preference rather than money as you approach our 50s and 60s.
